GA Workshop: Mobile Video: Produce Content Like a Pro

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while! I attended my first General Assembly workshop on the 21st of January. After searching for a short course on quick-and-dirty video production, I came across this workshop and thought I’d give it a whirl. At £35 there wasn’t a lot to lose! I was really impressed with the instructor and the venue and really felt as though I learnt a lot. I came away with some valuable skills which I’ve been busy putting into practice!

Review: Powtoon

Powtoon is an online application that allows you to create videos and animations quickly and easily. You can create videos from scratch using the content library, or choose a template. I used the free version of Powtoon to create the “About Me” video found on the front page of this website. This is my review!

Review – Piktochart

Piktochart is a web-based application which can be used to create infographics, presentations and flyers. You can create great looking visuals in just a few steps, without the need for specialist graphic design skills or software! I was able to sign-up and create a poster all within my lunch break.
