I finally took a trip up to Lancaster University! Unfortunately, it wasn’t for a jolly. I met my supervisor in person, and I attended the Intellectual Party/Summer Conference. I enjoyed the conference and managed to get a bit of research done despite the busy schedule.

Earlier this year, I joined the steering committee for the M25 region of the Association for Learning Technology and I volunteered to host the summer meeting. Organising the event was pretty stressful but really rewarding. In this blog post, I share my experiences of organising the event.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I attended the Articulate Roadshow a few weeks’ ago in London. I’d attended a couple of London meetup sessions in the past and even though it was good to meet like-minded individuals, the sessions tended to cater towards new users of the software. After reading the agenda for the Roadshow event I felt positive that I’d walk away with some new skills.
